Muscles

- Bicep - 二头肌 - the muscle on the inside of your upper arm. (plural = biceps)
- Tricep - 三头肌 - the muscle on the back of your upper arm. (plural = triceps)
- Pectorals - 大胸肌 - chest muscles. The abbrevation pecs is often used as slang for “pectoral muscles.” (Example: “That guy has huge pecs.”)
- Abdominals - 腹肌 - stomach muscles. The abbreviation abs is often used. “Six pack abs” or “washboard abs” are two common slang phrases referring to these muscles. A “six pack” is a set of 6 cans (usually beer or cola):

So someone has “six pack abs” when their abdominal muscles can be seen clearly in a group of six. You can also say someone “has a six pack.” (they have clearly defined stomach muscles with no fat).
Examples:
“After doing 5,000 sit-ups, I now have a six pack.”
“Arnold has quite a six pack in that picture above.”
“If you eat donuts all day, you will never get six pack abs.”This usage is so common that if you search google for “six pack,” almost all of the results are sites telling you how you can get “six pack abs.”
“Washboard abs” is similar phrase. This is a washboard (a board people once used to wash clothes on):

So if you have “washboard abs” or have a “washboard,” your stomach looks like a washboard.
Example:
“That guy has a washboard.” (His abdominal muscles are clearly defined.)
- Quadricep - 四头肌 - The large muscle of the front of your thigh. “Quad” is the common abbreviation. (plural = “quads” or “quadriceps”)
- Hamstring - 腿筋 - The muscle at the back of your upper leg. (plural = hamstrings) (Example: “My hamstrings are really sore from jogging.”)
- Calf - ? - The muscle at the back of your lower leg. (plural = calves)
- Shin - 胫骨
- Ankle - 脚腕子
